Leo season brings out the real diva in all of us! All my Leo queens will understand this to be true. Leo’s love to shine brightly, they adore the spotlight - Leo is ruled by the Sun (the biggest spotlight in our solar system) after all!
And when Leo’s shine brightly, they inspire everyone around them to follow suit. You cannot help but fall in love with Leo’s energy, it’s infectious, it’s hot, it’s sunny, and it makes you feel so damn good!!
But this Leo season is about more than just being our brightest, most sparkliest selves. This year, Leo season is about tapping into the energy that drives your ambition, your motivation and your desire to be the best version of you.

The key question to keep asking yourself this month? Am I being led by my desire to inspire others to be their brightest, most sparkliest selves? Or am I being led by a need to control the narrative?
On 14th July the New Moon enters her home sign of Cancer, reminding us that it’s okay to be vulnerable with our emotions, of course sometimes we get hurt but keeping your heart soft is a sign of so much strength diva, and deep down you know this is true!
The following day the New Moon shifts into Leo, shining a subtle light on recognising the difference between how arrogance and confidence show up for you.

FEEL THE SUN WARM YOUR SKIN & YOUR HEART
The Sun enters its home sign of Leo on 22nd July, and girl when I say this heat is gonna endure, you’d better believe it! Leo, a fixed fire sign whose flame (whether raging or subtle) will continue burning, is being set alight all the more by the heat of the Sun.
Leo and the Sun are like perfect partners so whatever action you decide to take this month, it is gonna feel so damn good, because your decisions have been made with clarity, based on past experience, and the innate knowledge of your current desire to shine like the brightest star in the sky!
The following day (23rd July) things get even clearer because Mercury stations direct in Cancer. Yes, we are in a post shadow phase so you can absolutely take a little longer to mull things over before making final decisions or saying what you’ve been wanting to say out loud. But if you know in your gut, your heart, and your mind that this decision feels absolutely 100% right, then what is stopping you from taking that action, diva???

Saturn goes retrograde in Aries on 26th July (which is also the same day that the North and South nodes shift out of Pisces and Virgo, and into Aquarius and Leo, respectively. This optical illusion of a planet moving backwards on its course, is simply drawing our awareness towards things in our past that we need to address).
Saturn retrograde in Aries, asks to revisit the structures and boundaries we established during Aries season. How are these structures supporting us? Are our boundaries truly benefiting us? Or are they hindering our growth? Remember, structures and boundaries are there to help us grow in a way that is sustainable and flexible. Aries is the sign of action, so if you’re feeling resistance maybe those structures and boundaries need a little tweak.
A NOTE ON THOSE NORTH & SOUTH NODES
The North & South Nodes are connected to the Moon’s orbital path. They are not a tangible object, but rather a mathematical axis in each of our birth charts, carrying a lot of meaning.
Sitting directly opposite one another, they spend roughly 18 months in each sign, moving retrograde (backwards) through the zodiac.
On 26th July the North Node will move into Aquarius, and the South Node will move into Leo. Those of us with strong Aquarius and Leo placements will feel this shift, because the Nodes impact us on a personal and collective level.
Representing karma and growth, the North Node is about where you are heading, and the challenges and experiences you will face in this life. The South Node is about where you have been, and learning to grow beyond this place of comfort. With the shift into Aquarius and Leo, the focus for the next 18 months will be on serving your community, and how you contribute to the wider world outside of your immediate loved ones and friends, whilst also learning to move away from drama and the need for external validation.
On 29th July, the Full Moon in Aquarius asks us to face up to how our personal desires could be preventing us from creating and collaborating with others. Yes, absolutely celebrate yourself queen, you’ve been working really hard, and it’s okay to acknowledge the fruits of your labour! At the same time, ask yourself who you can collaborate with, and how you can create something greater!

Venus enters her home sign of Libra on 6th August, and she is so very comfortable and happy here. But the vibe feels very different to when she’s at home in fixed earthy Taurus. Venus in the cardinal air sign of Libra, asks us to create harmony in our relationships. Take some time here to seek more balance in your relationship with yourself first, and then look at your closest relationships, before moving onto people and communities beyond this.
Where is there conflict?
Where do you need closure?
Where do you need to pour more of your energy?
CREATIVITY & COMMUNICATION ALLOW YOU TO TRULY SPEAK FROM THE HEART
Mercury shifts into Leo on 9th August, and after a three week retrograde in Cancer, the energy now is about getting creative with how we communicate.
Communication
does not always have to be verbal. If you love to write and journal, then give yourself the time and space to reconnect to this, and explore how you could do it differently.
If you love to sing, share poetry, draw, paint, or write music, then now is the perfect time to
re-establish this passion!
Is this a part of you that you feel comfortable sharing? If not, that’s totally cool but if you are, then share share share!!
People need to see and be aware of your talent, diva!
Be creative!
And, as always speak your truth from your heart queen!
On 11th August, Mars enters Cancer and right now there’s a real feeling of intention and purpose, in relation to how your actions reflect how you show care for yourself, the people you love, and your community.
